A cotton shirt under a plate carrier holds sweat and then holds it against you for the rest of the day. Polyester moves it to the surface and lets it evaporate, which is the whole argument for a technical base layer.
This one is 100% polyester with engineered wicking and a four-way stretch, so shouldering a rifle or reaching across your body does not drag the shirt with it.
It is cut slim to sit clean under the Shinto system or any other carrier without bunching, and it dries fast enough to be worth putting back on after rain. Off the field it works as a plain tee.

Good to know
This is a base layer first. If you want a shirt that reads as a shirt on its own, the 220g cotton tee is the better pick.
Frequently asked questions
Will it stay cool under a plate carrier? That is what it is built for — wicking plus a slim profile so the carrier is not pressing wet fabric against you.
Does polyester hold smell? It dries fast, which helps. Wash it after a game rather than at the end of the weekend.
Can I wear it on its own? Yes. Fujin design it to work as a standalone tee off the field.
