External Features

The SSR63 A2 features a distinctive Novritsch-designed CNC aluminium handguard. This handguard combines:

• 20mm Picatinny rails for easy accessory mounting
• M-LOK slots on the sides, top, and bottom for additional gear

At the tip, you'll find the classic AR36K four-prong flash hider, compatible with 14mm CCW male threading. You can easily swap it for a tracer unit or suppressor as needed.

Another notable feature is the absence of the mock gas block and gas piston. This design choice reduces weight and simplifies battery installation, providing extra space for larger batteries. The battery compartment is inside the handguard, accessible by removing it with a simple pin mechanism. We recommend using a 7.4V 1450mAh LiPo battery, though larger batteries can fit as well.

The handguard is CNC-machined from aluminium, ensuring durability and precision. It includes:

• 20mm Picatinny rails at 12 and 6 o'clock for tactical accessories
• M-LOK slots on the top, bottom, and sides for versatile mounting options

Internal Upgrades

Inside, the SSR63 A2 boasts impressive features:

• Programmable MOSFET/ETU with multiple fire modes, low voltage cutoff, and cycle control
• High-torque motor for rapid trigger response and high rate of fire
• CNC machined HOP-up unit with a Maple Leaf flat HOP-up bucking for superior accuracy

The MOSFET/ETU system includes:

• Programmable fire controls, including burst and binary triggers
• 5 pre-cocking levels
• Active breaking, full cycle control, and low battery warning

Receiver and Stock

The receiver keeps the AR36K's ergonomic design but adds an M4/AR-15 magazine adapter for greater versatility. While it lacks the ambidextrous magazine release, the new design is usable by both left and right-handed shooters with some practice.

Key features include:

• Ambidextrous fire selector switch with a 45-degree throw for quick mode changes
• Ambidextrous charging handle that folds out for easy access
• Side-folding stock with a QD sling point and a standard sling loop

The stock folds to the right side and locks firmly in place, allowing you to shoot confidently in tight spaces. It also provides access to the quick-change spring guide, enabling fast power adjustments.
