Kydex Customs 2" Shooter Belt — Pencott Greenzone

Greenzone was designed around thick summer foliage, and in a British wood in full leaf it outperforms the more common patterns by a visible margin. It works at close range, which is exactly where a belt is seen — the pattern breaks up over a short viewing distance rather than needing to be read across a field.

The belt underneath is the same rigid platform as the rest of the 2″ range. A thin inner belt goes through the trouser loops, loop Velcro facing out; the stiff outer closes over it with hook Velcro facing in. They hold each other along the entire length, so a loaded belt does not rotate and a holster does not roll away from the body on the draw.

Attachment points on the Gen 2 outer are laser cut straight through the laminate, giving 18 to 24 rows depending on size without the bulk of sewn-on webbing. Closure is a genuine AustriAlpin Cobra rated to 4000lb, which releases cleanly however much weight is hanging on the belt.

Is Greenzone worth it over Multicam? In dense green vegetation, noticeably. In dry, open or winter terrain, less so — it is a specialist pattern rather than a general-purpose one.

What size do I need? Order your measured waist size. Each belt gives around 6″ of extra adjustment over nominal for layering.

Will Greenzone pouches match exactly? They should if they are genuine Pencott. Be careful with printed imitations, which tend to run greener and flatter than the licensed fabric.
