A ranger plate cut specifically for PTS EPM1 and EPM1-S magazines. Made to fit that magazine rather than to fit most of them.

A ranger plate gives you something to grip when you are pulling a magazine out of a tight pouch, and something to stop it disappearing into the bottom of one. Generic plates fit approximately; this one is cut for the EPM1 and EPM1-S.

That matters more than it sounds. A plate that is slightly oversized catches on the pouch on the way out, and a slightly undersized one moves. Fujin size this one to the magazine.
