Fujin Shinto NADAI Chassis Gen2 in Ranger Green — the chassis the rest of the Shinto system bolts onto. Redesigned side pockets you can reach with it on, cable channels, and a low-profile insert-ready interior.

Fujin call this one the core chassis, and the word is fair — the four other Shinto layers all mount to it, and it is meant to be lived in rather than swapped between games.

What sets the Gen2 apart from the carrier it replaces is the detail work: routed channels that keep PTT leads and accessory cable off the front panel, and side utility pockets redesigned so you can reach them without stripping the carrier off first.

The interior is deliberately plain and low profile, which leaves room for ventilation grids or padding to sit flat underneath instead of bunching. Ranger green sits well against woodland and most European camo patterns.

Frequently asked questions

How much difference do the cable channels really make? Enough that you notice it the first time you go prone. A PTT lead that is not routed catches on a mag pouch, and the channels are there so it cannot.

Can I fit a ventilation grid or padding underneath? Yes — the inside face is deliberately left low profile so inserts and padding sit flat. Fujin build their ThermoGrid to go there.

Are the side pockets usable with the carrier on? That is what they were redesigned for. Fujin describe them as reachable without taking the carrier off, which is the only reason a side pocket is worth having.

💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: Set the side pockets up for things you need one-handed and nothing else. A pocket you have to stop and think about is a pocket you will stop using. More in plate carriers.
